ROW volunteers reading with students at Russell Elementary

Once a week, Sentinel High School students taking education and teaching classes visit Russell Elementary School as part of the Reading Opens your World (ROW) program that fosters literacy for Early Kindergarten learners and math skills development for second-graders.

ROW is offered through Quality Career Discoveries, which is part of the work-based learning opportunities offered through Career and Technical Education (CTE). Through ROW, high school students gain first-hand experience teaching young students, while young students gain an extra learning experience from the "big kids" they look up to!
